To use the urinal, simply place it on a relatively falt surface such as a car seat, camping chair, or similar surface. make sure the drainage cap is secure. Sit on it as you would sit on a toilet seat. Void onto the funnel. Urine is trapped inside the urinal. After use, it can be place on its side or even up-side-down without spilling.
Caution: vigorous shaking of the urinal may cause some liquid to splash back out of the funnel
The urinal can hold up to approximately one liter (about a quart) of urine. Filling the urinal beyond this increases the risk of spillage.
To empty the urinal, remove the drain cap. Pour th contents out.
To clean, fill the urinal with approximately one quart of water. Then add an ounce of household bleach. Replace the drain cap. Swirl the liquid around several times then turn the urinal up-side-down and repeat. Then empty. Repeat this process several times to wash out all urine. Replace the cap and store for the next use. The urinal is made of polypropylene plastic and can withstand most household cleaners and bleaches. Make sure you rinse these products well before using the urinal again.

Price Value Quality So convenient! I have frequent urination issues and when camping if it is cold out it triggers my urge to urinate even more. Having this at hand was a relief! I didn't have to wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning and walk or bike all the way to the port-a-potties.I was able to take care of my business discretely.
In the morning it was easy to transport to the potties and simply empty with no mess.
To avoid any potential smells, I rinsed it vinegar and water and wiped the potty hole and spout with Clorox wipe.

Value Quality Price Great design, convenient, spill-proof, not cumbersome... BUT: the plastic lid breaks easily if slightly overtightened, or if dropped. Should be able to buy replacement lids, and there should be a flange to prevent overtightening. (Posted on 6/3/11)
