The Non-Folding Steel Bedside Commode by Medline is constructed from re-enforced steel to provide a safe, durable bedside toilet able to support up to 350 lbs. Height can easily be adjusted in one inch increments, allowing for it to be placed at the exact height for any user. From 16" to a maximum seat height of 22 1/2". The back rail of the commode can be removed with ease.
The durable plastic seat and lid allow it to be light weight weighing only 16 lbs. Making it easy to maneuver into the right position for a person that may have difficulties in reaching it. The plastic armrests provide additional comfort and safety for individuals with balancing problems. Non-marring, non-skid rubber tips, preventing sliding of the commode when transferring on and off.
The lid provided reduces the spread of odor and makes removing the pail less unpleasant for caregivers or nurses. In combination with the splash guard, it also prevents spills.
Overall size of 24 1/2" base width, an 18" overall base depth and an overall height of 23 1/2" to 30", depending on seat height. 14" seat width, 15" seat depth, as well as a 19" space between the arm rests makes this lightweight to provide for the toilet needs of any individual.
