The The AMK Ultralight Series Ultralight .9 is the ideal first aid kit to take along when participating in adventures sports. Racing, camping, skiing, hiking and back-packing, rafting, or sea kayaking only compliment is necessity. Tested by adventure racers in events like the Primal Quest, Raid Gauloises and Eco Challenge, this kit is perfect for any event. When exposure to elements may become an issue with ordinary first aid kits this kit excels. The combination of two DryFlex inner liners, a seam sealed silnylon outer bag and waterproof zips will ensure that the kit's contents will remain dry.
Designed to cater for up to four days for four individuals, the kit contains everything to treat common injuries. This includes an irrigation syringe to clean wounds, closure strips and a supply of bandages and wraps to deal with fractures. A trauma pad and a supply of wide elastic wraps help assist in controlling potentially life-threatening bleeding. Die-cut moleskin and adhesive in the shape of tincture of Benzoin protect hikers against their Number One injury.
